What we handle. Panel defects (manufacturer warranty); inverter failures (manufacturer warranty); racking issues (manufacturer warranty); workmanship issues (our 10-year IWA-backed warranty); IWA-backed claims (if installer is insolvent during years 1-10). What we don't handle. Insurance claims (your insurer handles these — we provide technical evidence as needed); manufacturer disputes outside warranty terms (legal counsel rather than warranty support); end-of-life decommissioning beyond standard warranty cover. Resolution timelines. Panel claims: typically 4-12 weeks from claim to replacement (lab testing for failed panels adds time). Inverter claims: typically 1-6 weeks. Workmanship claims (we handle these directly): typically 1-4 weeks. Client cost. For claims during your own 10-year IWA-backed period: included in standard scope. For claims after the IWA period (or claims by clients we didn't install): typically £400-£1,200 per claim depending on complexity.
